As a first-year, transfer student from a public university, I looked for a four-year college that was affordable, provided a high quality education and most importantly, treated me as a person, not a number. At Bay Path, I found everything I was looking for and more—faculty who cared about my education as much as I did and limitless opportunities to succeed.
From scholarships to grants, financial aid made it possible for me to pay for a private college education. I received one-on-one attention from faculty and staff, which enabled me to excel in my studies as well as extra-curricular activities. I received an exceptional higher education that brought me one step closer to achieving my dream of becoming a lawyer focused on criminal juvenile law.
Raquel was Bay Path's 2009 Student-Athlete of the Year and is enrolled at Western New England College's School of Law, where she received the conveted Public Interest Fellowship.
