Dear Colleagues,
On Veterans Day, we come together to honor the dedication and sacrifices of those who have served our country. We observe it as a day to honor all veterans—men and women who have served in various capacities, each contributing to upholding our freedoms and the values we hold dear.
Today, there are over 16 million veterans living in the United States whose service has spanned across the decades including World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and more recent conflicts. These numbers represent generations of men and women dedicated to the principles by which this country is founded on.
Here at Bay Path University and Cambridge College, we are privileged to have veterans and military family members within our communities. Their strength, resilience, and commitment enrich our campuses and inspire us every day.
This Veterans Day, I encourage all of us to take a moment to reflect on the service and sacrifices made by these men and women. Consider reaching out to a veteran, attending a local event, or simply taking a moment to reflect on the freedom and security we often take for granted.
Thank you for joining me in remembering, honoring, and expressing our gratitude to all who have served.
Sincerely,
Sandra J. Doran, J.D.
President, Bay Path University
