Jessie Fisher G'22, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Fisher is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner currently practicing in a University Student Health and Wellness Center, providing comprehensive care to undergraduate and graduate students. Her expertise includes primary care, emergency medicine, and student health, with a strong commitment to education. She has experience teaching both clinical and didactic courses and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of nurses.
Dr. Fisher completed her doctoral project on Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) in primary care, focusing on integrating early intervention strategies for substance use disorders within primary care settings.
Her clinical interests include metabolic health, disease prevention, health promotion, and higher education. She remains committed to advancing nursing practice through education, mentorship, and evidence-based care.
