Maureen helps brands advance their goals through strategic campaigns. Maureen has worked on mission-driven campaigns for more than 15 years, supporting prominent brands such as BMW, Bayer, FIRST, Johnson & Johnson, and Northwestern Mutual.

She is a creative storyteller and earned/owned/paid media strategist. Her skill set includes brand research and positioning; campaign development, execution and analysis; partnership negotiations, and media training.

Maureen honed her skills and expertise for 10 years at Cone Communications in Boston. There, she launched award-winning public awareness campaigns, including Northwestern Mutual’s national philanthropic initiative for childhood cancer, through traditional and digital media.

Prior to her work at Cone, Maureen was an associate vice president at Prosek Partners, a global public relations firm. There, she helped clients differentiate their brands by championing issues such as safe teen driving with BMW; healthy aging with Pfizer; and personal finance for millennials with The Hartford’s award-winning Playbook for Life campaign.

As an expert in public relations, Maureen has been interviewed for her point of view by media outlets, including The New York Times, NPR, and PRWEEK. She was an editorial contributor and advisor to PR News. Maureen currently serves as chair of the Faculty Forum and a member of the Content Strategy Committee for PRSA Boston. She also develops and moderates expert round-table panels for PRSA Boston, exploring best practices and emerging trends in social impact communications.
