Effective January 1, 2024, the CPA exam will change its structure from the previous Business Environment and Concepts (BEC) section to choosing one of the following sections: Business Analysis and Reporting (BAR), Information Systems and Controls (ISC), or Tax Compliance and Planning (TCP). The following 3 sections of the CPA exam will remain unchanged: Taxation and Regulation (REG), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), Auditing and Attestation (AUD).
