Bay Path University Names Dinah Moore as Dean of Students and Engagement
Bay Path University is pleased to announce Dinah Moore, M.S. has been appointed as the University’s Dean of Students and Engagement and will begin her role on April 18, 2022.
“We conducted a national search, which brought many high caliber candidates to our attention, but Dinah’s experience with and palpable passion for our students secured her as the ideal person to serve in this critical role,” says Frank Rojas, Bay Path’s Vice President of Enrollment Management.
Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Moore served as the Executive Director of Bay Path’s signature WELL (Women as Empowered Learners and Leaders) program, a core component of the college’s curriculum designed help undergraduates discern and articulate their goals while providing the confidence, skills, and knowledge to achieve those goals successfully. In addition, she oversaw advising for Bay Path’s traditional undergraduate students, while also ensuring the institution’s Title IX compliance, prohibiting sex discrimination (including pregnancy, sexual orientation and gender identity) in her role as Bay Path’s Title IX Coordinator.
Ms. Moore has been an active leader in Bay Path’s DEI work, serving on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Community Council and as a member of the DEI Advisory Committee to the President.
Ms. Moore obtained her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at Bay Path, while working as a full-time professional and mother of four, making her keenly attuned to the needs and experiences of adult students. Her graduate program included an internship at STCC in the career resource center, further strengthening her interest in higher education. Upon completion of the program, she joined Bay Path University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wesleyan University.
