The Inaugural President’s Gala, Dance A Mile In Their Shoes

What a glorious night for Bay Path and for our students! Truly the stars were shining on and off the dance floor at the Inaugural President’s Gala, Dance a Mile In Their Shoes, held on April 29th at GreatHorse. The words “thank you” to the participants, judges, donors, and the staff who made this event such a success are just not enough. Over $150,000 was raised in support of student scholarships. There were so many high points throughout the evening including our very moving students’ stories, a tremendously inspirational speech from our keynote speaker Adrianne Haslet, the fast and furious auction bidding, and, finally, our “dance stars” who stole the evening: community advocate Yvette Frisby, trustee Jonathan Besse, and alumna Jessica Fraga ’05 G’09. When the voting was finally tallied, Jonathan Besse was the winner. But the real winners were our students. Save the date for next year—April 28, 2018!
