Kathleen Kalmbach Promoted to Assistant Professor and Director of Didactic Education for Bay Path University’s Physician Assistant Program

Longmeadow, MA—Kathleen Kalmbach, MS, PA-C, has been promoted to the position of Director of Didactic Education and Assistant Professor for the Physician Assistant Program at Bay Path University.

Kalmbach joins the University’s Physician Assistant Program faculty full-time after serving as an adjunct faculty member and associate clinical professor for the past three years. In her new position, Kalmbach will be coordinating the didactic year of physician assistant students’ education in the program. She will be giving lectures and assisting with both the skills lab and the patient assessment lab.

In addition to her role as a member of Bay Path University’s faculty, Kalmbach has worked at Baystate Medical Center in the Emergency Department for five years. During this time, she has precepted physician assistant students in the emergency department. She has also served as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). Kalmbach earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Springfield College.
